MORGAN YOUNG | email
Executive Pastor, Oakbrook Church, Kokomo IN
Morgan was my department head at Oakbrook for many years (until 2008), when he transitioned to a role of Executive Pastor, overseeing nearly all the church staff now.

DIANA TENBROOK | email
VP of Marketing, Solidarity Community F.C.U., Kokomo IN
Diana was one of my largest and most consistent clients at Waterline Media. We did print ads, television commercials, radio spots, on-hold music, newsletters, and internal posters and flyers for her. During our tenure, the average age of membership dropped from 47 to 42 (25,000 members). She gives much credit to Waterline for that success.

T.C. FURLONG | email
Owner/Principal, TC Furlong Inc., Chicago IL
In preparation for my role as design/build manager for Oakbrook, I sought out the guidance and advice of T.C., who owns a large A/V/L design/build firm in Chicago and has done extensive projects for the likes of Willow Creek Church, PBS (Soundstage series), and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In connecting with him, T.C. admitted some surprise at how quickly I was able to grasp the main concepts of design and optimization. It was his suggestion that I go to Meyer’s headquarters in Berkley CA and take the System Design and Optimization course, and then to manage the Oakbrook project myself, with some oversight by him.

RICK BETTILYON | email
Owner/Principal, Concept Technologies Group, Phoenix, AZ
I have worked with Rick on two projects. He was the Master Planner for Oakbrook Church’s building  and has a heavy theatrical background. We spent a lot of time together while touring other facilities across the nation in doing research for Oakbrook’s building. Rick then later hired me as a technical consultant on another A/V/L project of his. Rick routinely talks about my unique giftedness in the world of production tech.

JOHN CARLSON | email
former Music Director, Willow Creek Community Church, South Barrington IL
When I was Music Director for Oakbrook, I developed a relationship with John, who was a Music Director at Willow. We played on each other’s stages, shared charts, and became friends. John knows a lot about my professional and personal life.
