Dave Ramsey Quote of the Day
“If you’re hoping John McCain is going to fix your life, you’re up a creek.
If you’re hoping Barack Obama is going to fix your life, you’re up a creek.
Stop looking for Washington to fix your life. The best thing that could come out of Washington is for them to get out of the way and for YOU to go fix your life. It is YOUR job to get up, leave the cave, kill something, and drag it home.
Stop Whining!”

I just happened to be catching up on Ramsey today via the podcast, and I came across a few quotes I wanted to share too. I then quickly forgot them. One was something he actually read from Alexis de Tocqueville, which he didn’t know how to pronounce (come on, Dave). Found the quote from de Tocqueville, so I’ll at least share this one.
“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money”

Under that definition, the Republic has already not endured because that happens every single day in Washington.
But that’s not new. You can find pork barrel spending and that type of thing all the way back.

Precisely the point.
